Parkland - Addition & Kitchen
Based on the client's needs, we re-designed the kitchen area to have a smaller, more functional island without the raised eating area.  We removed the block window unit and replaced it with a smaller window to allow for more cabinet storage and a coffee station.  Because the kitchen was in good condition, we were able to blend in the new cabinetry while keeping some of the old.

A sunny nook was added to meet the needs of a growing family who wanted a gathering area that would be less formal than the dining room.  We worked with the client to design and build the addition on to the back of their home which brought additional light and views to the back yard.  During the design process, we worked together and chose to cancel plans for a crawl space and instead fully develop the space for wine storage and a bar area.  Here you can see the features of both new spaces.

The great room was updated by first removing the dated full length mirrors on the walls and putting in new windows to bring in additional light and add to their view over Fish Creek Park.  We replaced the remaining windows in the space to tie in to the new look both inside and out.  A beautiful stone fireplace was also added.

The client wanted to update the outside of their home and what a difference!  The drab blue exterior was replaced with an Arts & Crafts style upgrade, complete with red cedar siding, new stone facing, fresh paint and a new 'eyebrow' feature roof over the front entrance.
